Popstar Cheryl Cole was spotted coming out of the airport with suspiciously larger lips than when she left. The X Factor judge had been visiting Germany as part of her album tour. Tell tale signs that she may have had work done were that she was unusually shy in the public eye while appearing specifically self conscious about her mouth.

Last week it was the Britain's Got Talent singer, affectionately known as SuBo, who surprised onlookers with erratic behaviour. Susan Boyle is known to suffer from mental health issues so passengers at Heathrow airport were understandably concerned to see her singing into a mop head. Standing in the British Airways VIP lounge, Susan Boyle was reported to try and polish a passenger's shoes with the mop as well as shouting obscenities. There are fears that her learning difficulties are making it increasingly difficult for her to cope with the stardom of her huge hit record. The spokesman of the 48 year old said that she had been misunderstood but nevertheless wanted to apologise for any offence caused.

Plus sized model Laura Stone came into Heathrow with her new fianc', Little Britain comedian David Walliams. The model flashed a sparkler as she returned from a job in Brazil as a sign of their new union. She also had a vintage Tiffany ring to show off. Walliams had flown out there to surprise her, but is thought to have actually proposed earlier in Los Angeles. Lovebirds Danii Minogue and Kris Smith were also seen in Heathrow airport around the same time and Minogue has announced that she is expecting a child. On Sunday the tall and elegant actress Uma Thurman came into Heathrow airport wearing a tall bobble hat which made her look like Dr Seuss.

Unsightly behaviour is not uncommon at Heathrow airport. A man has recently been charged in court with being drunk and disorderly at Heathrow airport. He was one of three men on a plane to Dubai who were overheard making bomb threats. His actions forced 330 passengers to disembark the plane due to increased security and fears about a terrorist attack taking place.

It is not just passengers who are in the docks. An American pilot is to be charged with being over the alcohol limit to fly a plane. Erwin Vermont Washington was found to have consumed three times the legal amount of alcohol as he prepared to take off from Heathrow airport. There were more than 120 passengers on the United Airlines plane which was bound for Chicago. Some of the 11 staff smelled alcohol on his breath. After breathalising him, police escorted him from the Boeing 767 plane. Nine micrograms of alcohol is the legal limit but he was found to have 31 micrograms of alcohol in his system. Washington pleaded guilty at Uxbridge Magistrates court to the offence which happened on November 9 last year. The flight was cancelled and passengers were taken from the plane without being told the reason for the disturbance.
